Nickelodeon Decides Not To Renew "Sanjay And Craig" For Season 4

Nickelodeon voice artist Chris Hardwick has announced the unfortunate news in a Tweet on his official Twitter profile, @Hardwick, that Nickelodeon has decided to cancel and not renew the networks popular original animated series (Nicktoon) Sanjay and Craig for a fourth season:

Sanjay and Craig followed the misadventures of Sanjay Patel, an excitable and irreverent 12-year-old boy (Maulik Pancholy, 30 Rock) and his best friend Craig Slithers, a smooth-talking snake and master of disguise (Chris Hardwick, Back at the Barnyard, Nerdist, The Talking Dead). Together, they embark on awesome kid-inspired quests that are at times totally ridiculous, absolutely gross and weirdly sweet. The series is created by Jim Dirschberger, Jay Howell and Andreas Trolf. Dirschberger, Howell and Thurop Van Norman served as co-executive producers, and award-winning animation team Chris Viscardi and Will McRobb (The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Snow Day, Inside-Out Boy, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging) as executive producers. Additionally, Toby Huss, who portrayed Artie, the "Strongest Man in the World", in the classic Nickelodeon series The Adventures of Pete & Pete and recently appeared in the new Ghostbusters movie, had a recurring role as the voice of the character Farmer Larry.

Sanjay and Craig ran for 60 episodes over three seasons. Nick USA premiered the shows' series finale episode, "Booyah for Bollywood", on Friday 29th July 2016.
