Popular Nickelodeon Shows Nominated For Four 65th Primetime Emmy Awards

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has today (Thursday 18th July 2013) announced the fantastic Nickelodeon News that Nickelodeon, one of the world's leading recognized entertainment brands for kids and families, has been nominated for four 65th annual Primetime Emmy Awards!

The hit Nickelodeon original live-action comedy series "iCarly" and Nickelodeon's factual series "Nick News with Linda Ellerbee" have both been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in the 'Outstanding Children's Program' category, Nick's popular animated series (Nicktoon) "Kung Fu Panda: Legends Of Awesomeness" has been nominated for the 'Outstanding Animated Program' Primetime Emmy Award, and Nickelodeon's popular martial arts-themed comedy action series "Supah Ninjas" has been nominated for a 2013 Primetime Emmy Award in the 'Outstanding Stunt Coordination For A Comedy Series Or A Variety Program' category.

Nominees for the 65th annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on the morning of Thursday 18th July 2013 at the Television Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in the Los Angeles NoHo Arts District in North Hollywood. Aaron Paul ("Big Love", "Need for Speed" mmovie) was on hand to announce the nominations, and while Kate Mara could not join him, Neil Patrick Harris ("Doogie Howser, M.D.", "How I Met Your Mother", "Harold & Kumar") joined the festivities as a last-minute substitute.

The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards will be held at NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on Sunday 22nd September 2013 and will air LIVE coast to coast around the USA on CBS at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.
