Blackpool Pleasure Beach

After the launch of the new 'Nickelodeon' land in 2011, it’s no surprise that Blackpool doesn't have any money for any new rides in 2012. In fact, two of its key attractions, Valhalla and Revolution won’t even be open for the start of the 2012 season as they’re closed for refurbishment (and in the case of the latter, removal of a former sponsor’s branding).

However, expect Blackpool to keep pushing Nickelodeon land which has, by all accounts, been very well received. It is likely to see the number of visitors to Blackpool shoot up this year, as guests visit attractions such as The Rugrats' Lost River, Dora’s World Voyage and the Nickelodeon Streak.
